The new resonance international project “Mapping. Ukraine”, devoted to the Independence Day of Ukraine, takes place in Berlin. The grand opening of the exhibition of objects of contemporary art will be held on the 24 of August in the gallery “Rathaus Charlottenburg” (Berlin) with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany.
The curator is a young conceptual artist Lera Litvinova, who previously oversaw a series of international exhibition "Alternative. Ukraine - Reality and Future". The project was presented in Berlin, Luxembourg, Brussels, Bruges and Kiev. Guests of the exhibition "Mapping. Ukraine" will see works of the four Honored Artist of Ukraine, and sculptor who entered the top 40 best artists according to Art Business News in 2015.
Curator of the project "Mapping. Ukraine", Lera Litvinova says: "The way forward is always marked by the complexity and the need to overcome all sorts of obstacles, transformation of consciousness. The main objective of the project was to build a bridge between the present and future projections of Ukraine".
Participants of the project: artists Valeriy Franchuk, Natalia Papirna, Oleksiy Kulakov, Leonid Zaborowski, Anton Gudzikevich, Oleg Radwan, Lera Litvinova, Tetiana Vasilenko, Adriana Galitska; photographers Ivan Bogdan and Tetiana Latanskaya; sculptor Anna Voloshko.
"The project by Lera Litvinova is unique extraordinary combination of authors. The curator combined work of Honored Artist of Ukraine and conceptual works, which already is a challenge.
